For the Millions of fans watching globally for the fantastic show Judge Judy, It will now be coming to an end. As confusing as this may be, Judy Sheindlin ( Judge Judy) has been known for being a family court judge as soon as she started her show in 1996. With almost 25 years of a regular film schedule, 260 episodes and over 52 days of filming every year its safe to say after that period of time, I’m sure anyone would want to end their show at the great age of 77.
However, there will be a new show coming out around the time of the shows ending called ‘Judy Justice’ which was given away when Judy Sheindlin went to Ellen Degeneres, she also said to Ellen that She didn’t want to hang up her gravel just yet. With the ratings of the current show being very good at 7.4, many viewers (including myself) did not realize some episodes they were playing were quite old.
In 2019 Judy won a Lifetime Achievement award at the annual Daytime Emmys and in 2018 was one of the highest-paid tv hosts Internationally with over 147 million pretax Income. I will still be excited about the new show and disappointed that a great chapter in our lives has to end with the conclusion of the current one.
