A mixed final round has seen Lydia Ko hobble into a tie of placing 13th at the LPGA’S KIA classic in California, starting the day with an outside shot of the title.
Lydia Ko is coming into her final round in a tie for ninth place, and only five shots behind the rapid leader Inbee Park of South Korea. Her probability of a late figure up the leader board came off the really good start with a big swing on the first hole.
However, a hole in one on the second and fifth shot saw the Kiwi forced to work for any possible victory, before the Kiwi took her way back under the number of swings on the front nine with a big swing on the sixth and eighth.
Moving to the back nine, Lydia Ko was quickly required back to her last round with a hole in one on the 11th hole, before that swing was quickly cancelled out by a big swing on the 12th hole.
